What we do

At N.S. Educational Trust (NSET), our work centres around providing safe, inclusive, and empowering learning environments where

children can flourish. Our key initiative is the establishment and sustained development of Ramana Vidyalaya, a group of schools that embody our educational philosophy.

Ramana Vidyalaya, with campuses in Sholinganallur and Mahindra World City (MWC), is a holistic school system that serves children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The school is grounded in the belief that every child can thrive when given the right support, opportunities, and a safe, nurturing environment.

KEY ELEMENTS OF OUR WORK AT RAMANA VIDYALAYA

  • Individual Potential, Holistic Growth

We offer a child-centric curriculum rooted in experiential learning, creative exploration, and values-based education. Our focus goes
beyond academics to include co-curriculars, life skills, and emotional well-being.

  • Safety and well-being

Child safety is a cornerstone of our school culture. Our policies and practices include age-appropriate awareness programs on body autonomy and consent, teacher training on child protection and emotional sensitivity, safe reporting systems and a proactive Child Welfare Committee, and continuous engagement with parents to build safe spaces at school and home.

  • Partnership with Parents & Community

We believe education is most impactful when schools and families work together. Our programs for parents include orientation sessions, workshops, and interactive events, where learning and dialogue happen.

  • Inclusion & Learning Support

Every child learns differently. We provide differentiated instruction and collaborate with special educators to support children with diverse learning needs, thereby ensuring they are included meaningfully in the classroom.

  • Equity through Scholarships

Through donor-supported endowments and scholarship funds, we ensure that financial constraints do not hinder a child’s right to quality education.
