SAFE SCHOOLS - NiNo Initiative
Developed in collaboration with child development experts and institutions, Safe Schools is a child safety awareness initiative that supports schools and NGOs in delivering age-appropriate safety education, creating responsive child protection policies, training teachers and caregivers and fostering shared ownership of safe environments. NSET serves as the institutional home for this initiative, helping scale its impact beyond our own schools.

PUDIYADOR
Pudiyador (“anew” in Tamil) is an education-driven child and family organization that caters to disadvantaged communities in Chennai, India. Their goal is to equip children and their families with experiences and opportunities that will empower them and their communities to break the cycle of generational poverty. Their programs are meant to serve the entire community, starting from birth and going a full circle through schemes such as Cradle Health (for expectant and new mothers and their infants), School Bridge (for children in the age group of 3 to 5), Children’s program (for children in the age group of 5 to 11), Early Teens Program (for the age group of 12 to 15), Youth Advancement (for the age group of 16 to 19) and Women’s Empowerment and Community Development.
